The more detail you send, the more useful the response. A surveyor can give a real ballpark from an
address and a clear description of the problem.
Tell us the parcel and what the survey is for. That is usually enough to come back with a useful number.
What to include
Property address or parcel number. County matters for coverage.
What you are trying to do. Fence, purchase, split, build, resolve a
disagreement, sort out flood insurance.
Approximate size. A quarter acre lot and forty acres are different jobs.
Any existing survey, even an old one. Genuinely useful and it can lower the
cost.
Whether you know of karst features, sinkholes or closed depressions.
Any deadline, particularly a closing date.
Not sure which survey you need? Describe the situation and we will work it out.
That is most of the value here. See the survey types page if you want
to read up first.
What happens next
We read it, work out what the situation actually calls for, and pass it to a Missouri-licensed
Professional Land Surveyor covering your county. They contact you directly. We are not a party to
whatever you agree with them and we do not mark up their price. The
how this works page covers the whole process, including how the site
is funded.
